This is my first wood inlay cutting board. Surprisingly as a woodworker, I haven’t made a lot of cutting boards. Only two real ones that I can really remember, and the first one I made back in Jr High School wood shop class. I’ve still got that first one and use it, and it is getting pretty rough given that it is 34 or 35 years old, so I made a new one for myself based on something that all 80’s kids seemed to love. I went with too much detail, and made a few mistakes, but that is part of the learning process.
Maple end grain with a walnut inlay.
