This is a five inch diameter wood sphere with inlays. The primary wood is walnut, and the main inlay is maple, although the 8 is cherry. I created this more as an experiment to see if I could machine a sphere, and use it as a test project for curved inlays. I’ve been doing curved inlays for a while, but I recently made it very easy to do by creating a plugin for Fusion: VCarve Inlay Plugin for Fusion
