The Rainbow Trout Cutting Board. This end grain cutting board a unique functional art piece. Finished with a food safe cutting board oil and some beeswax. The bottom has four brass feet to keep it level.

Primarily made with cherry as the main wood (reddish), and then using maple (white) and walnut (dark) for contrasting details. This project took me a few months to make as the design took a while, and I worked on my custom software (VBit Inlay) to generate toolpaths for Autodesk Fusion.

I have two nearly identical cutting boards available for sale.

Size: 19″x12″x1.5″ – Weight is around 8 pounds (plus or minus).

Shipping: My website should provide a pretty good estimate for shipping using USPS, but if it is quoting a really high value please email me and I’ll see if I can find a better rate (ie: UPS or FedEx). These boards are big and heavy!

Care: Hand wash only! Do not put in the dishwasher. If it starts to look dry, re-apply some cutting board oil (ie: Walrus Oil brand cutting board oil is what I use), and/or add a beeswax finish.
