This is a digital download for creating a wood inlay cutting board with a CNC router.
Board size: 19″x12″ (recommended min thickness 1.5″) – end grain
- Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD file completely setup for how I machined the design with my toolpaths
- Additional File Formats: Adobe Illustrator (AI) / DXF / SVG
- Prefer to import the AI file into Vectric VCarve
- The woods I used: walnut (dark) with cherry (red) and maple (white)
- This is a medium difficulty project, and it can be difficult to avoid chip out for the small features. It is designed for a 15 degree v-bit with a 0.005″ tip.

Updates:
- v2: Dec 22, 2025 – I cleaned up the AI file to import better into Vectric VCarve, same for the SVG. It will come up with zero length spans due to how VCarve imports SVGs, but those are easy to Validate and cleanup in VCarve. The AI file should import without any errors/overlaps now.
