NOTE: this file is now out of date! The latest version of the plugin generates more optimized 2D toolpaths using Engrave. I need to update it, or you can run the plugin on the design yourself to get the latest toolpath settings.
I created this test using my VCarve Inlay Plugin for Autodesk Fusion. You do not need the plugin to download and use this file.
The CAD and CAM is all setup to easily do a fit test by modifying the Parameter ‘inlay_fit_adjustment‘. The CAM is setup for my particular CNC machine, and you will likely have to modify the bit selection and feeds/speeds.
I have an Avid CNC Pro 4×8 with an 5 hp ATC spindle.
