These are the digital files to make my “Dragon Scale Bowl” design. Initial stock size is 12″x12″x4.75″. This requires a tall gantry, and 3″ length bits. I definitely consider it a more advanced project, and I don’t include any directions.

* STL model (the one I imported into Fusion)
For gantry clearance: Since the starting stock is 4.75” tall, and you’ll probably want another 3/4” for a base piece to attach it to for machining (as I do in the video), so your gantry has to clear that with some room for space…so, probably at least 5.5” gantry height plus some clearance. I’ve got an 8” gantry on my Avid, but I have two layers of MDF as my spoilboard, so, the height comes up to 7” with everything, leaving me with about an inch to spare.
I designed the shape in Rhino, but I am not including the Rhino file.
