Digital File: Wood Pyrex Lid – CNC and 3D Printing

This is my design for a wood pyrex container lid. There are two versions: one for the small 2-cup pyrex container, and another for the larger 1-quart pyrex container. I make no guarantees that these will fit every Pyrex container! Wood will move and swell, and these may not work for you!  

NOTES: The Fusion file is setup with all my engrave designs. The VCarve file is not setup for the engravings, you will have to do those yourself. I generally use Fusion. For VCarve, I only tested the “Small 2 Cup” VCarve file, and not the “Quart” file, but it should work based on my measurements in Fusion.  I include my original Adobe Illustrator and DXF files for the engravings that I designed (many are derivatives based off images from the internet).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Autodesk Fusion or Vectric VCarve 12.5 (or higher).  You should be familiar with one of these software programs enough to generate GCode and run it.
• CNC Machine
• 3D Printer

• PDF Directions file for how to make them.
• Autodesk Fusion file – with Configurations setup for 2 Cup and Quart designs, along with the toolpaths/CAM.
• Vectric VCarve 12.5 files: 2 Cup (tested) and Quart (untested).
• Gasket STL files for 3D printing with TPU – various sizes to test what fits best for you.
• The general designs I did in Adobe Illustrator.
